 Hello, everyone, it is Brandon Bornancin, CEO and founder at seamless.ai. I am thrilled to be speaking with you on stage at the RevTech Summit today. Today to help you kick start the new year, I want to talk to you about the 21 hard sales challenge.

21 Day Hard Sales Challenge Intro

For any of you, we invented the 21 hard sales challenge, my good friend, Andy Purcell, he came out with 75 hard, which is a great 75 day challenge to get you in the best shape of your life. It’s one of the hardest things that you will go through mentally, personally, professionally. I’m like Andy, my good friend, I’m going to come out with a sales challenge.

I’m going to call it the 21 hard sales challenge. He’s like, you should do it, make it impossible, and I will appreciate you. So that’s what we did. It’s the 21 hard sales challenge. And additionally what this challenge is, for the next 21 days, I’m going to give you step by step, six things that you need to do every single day for the next 21 days.

This challenge is not easy, it’s hard. That’s why they call it hard. But if you want to maximize sales, if you want to flood the calendar with back to back appointments on the hour, every hour, if you want to generate millions in sales, if you want to maximize your income, your revenue, your predictable, scalable, repeatable sales results. That’s what the 21 hard sales challenge will do. And all of you are coming out of a very rough, intense 2020. What is the 21 Day Hard Sales Challenge?

Let’s dive in to what that actually means. This is the tactical guide to win the war against yourself in sales. In addition the biggest thing, the biggest obstacle holding you back from zero to a million dollars in sales. 1 million to $10 million in sales. 10 million to $100 million in sales. The biggest thing holding you back from getting to where you want to go is right, here. It is you. This is the number one thing holding you back from getting where you want to go.

When it comes to battling yourself to win the war with yourself against sales. You got to develop the daily habits. The daily strategies, the Daily Execution of the sales secrets to get to where you want to go. So that’s what we’re going to cover today. This is the tactical guide to win the war against yourself. And it’s called the 21 hard sales challenge. It’s a 21 day challenge.     

Build a list of 100 contacts every day Email 100 people every day Call 50 people every day LinkedIn message 25 people every day Read 10 pages of a sales book every day Write 5 sales scripts every day

Step 1: Contacts

So the first step every day, 21 days straight no matter what I need you to build a list of 100 contacts right here. Every day, whether it’s using seamless.Ai, LinkedIn, or anything else out there. In addition no matter what you need to build a list of 100 contacts every single day that you should sell to. Step one, define your ICP ideal customer persona.

Step two, let’s not make this complicated. Build the list. I want you to do this every day. Every day, you’re going to define your ICP, you’re going to build the list, and you will not miss building a list of 100 contacts. That is the first thing you need to do every day. As part of the 21 hard sales challenge.  

Step 2: Email 100 People a Day

Let’s go into the next step. The next step is you need to email 100 people a day no matter what. No matter what no excuses, no bullshit. Grandma’s coming over to eat chicken pot pie that she cooked over the stove. Your girlfriend wants to go watch Netflix and chill. I don’t care what it is, no matter what you need to what build a list of 100 contacts and then email 100 people. That’s daily habit number two that you need to execute every single day. 21 days straight.  

 Step 3: Call 50 People a Day

The next thing you need to do every single day as part of the 21 hard sales challenge is you need to call 50 people every single day. I don’t care if it’s Monday. What are you gonna do you’re gonna call 50 people. I don’t care if it’s Wednesday, you’re gonna call 50 people. Saturday. When everyone else is sleeping and relaxing, you’re gonna call 50 people every day. And guess what? Why should you do that every day? Because this is not called the easy challenge. This is called the 21 hard sales challenge.

Guess what? The reason why I have you do this every day. By the way, my marketing team is like, oh, we’re in the culture of everyone needs work life balance. Everyone should chill. Brandon if you tell people to do this 21 day straight, you’re gonna be preaching to the hustle, culture and blah, blah, it doesn’t matter, guys. Additionally this is not an easy challenge, is it 21 hard sales challenge every single day for 21 days straight rain or shine, snow or sunshine, sleet or hail or High Water.

Build a list of 100 contacts, email 100 people call 50 people. I don’t care that it’s Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, you name it. That’s step three.  

Step 4: LinkedIn Message 25 People

Step four, every single day, you’re going to LinkedIn message 25 people. Every day I’m going to build a list. Every day, I’m going to send a list no matter what I’m going to do an omni channel approach. I’m going to be calling, I’m going to be emailing, I’m going to be social selling, this will create this, it multiplier, this sales activity multiplier by using all these different channels. By leveraging all of these different contact lists and activity, you just become an unstoppable appointment setting force that cannot be stopped. So that’s step four, LinkedIn message 25 people a day.  

Step 5: Read 10 Pages of a Sales Book

Let’s go into Step five. Step five, now we’re getting out of the activity and into the training and strategy. Every day, I want you to read 10 pages of a sales book, you are just one list away, you’re just one contact away. And you’re also just one sales strategy away. One script away from changing your life forever. From changing the life of someone else forever because you’ve got your products and services into their hands.

That’s where the reading 10 pages of sales book a day comes into play. There’s 500 pages 500 words on a page. It takes one to two minutes to read a page. If you’re slow, I read a book in literally 30 minutes. So 500 words one to two minutes. That’s what like 10 minutes 10 to 20 minutes to read 10 pages. Everyone’s got 10 to 20 minutes to invest in their success. To invest in their learning and their growth. I want you every day to read 10 pages of a sales book. Additionally, you will find new strategies, new secrets, new tactics to apply to your sales approach to maximize your revenue and to maximize your appointments and sales.

Step 6: Write 5 Sales Scripts a Day

Next, write five sales scripts a day, it’s critical that you build a list you sell to the list leveraging a multi channel approach, and then you need to be studying and then lastly, you need to be writing. 80% of sales is communication and writing. Literally the written word is all sales. Your call scripts, email scripts or social selling scripts your voicemail scripts, your sales discovery scripts, your sales pitching your sales closing your objection handling.

I’m not interested no budget, it’s too expensive. Already working with someone call me back later send me more information. I’m not the right person, talk to my boss. I’m already working with XYZ you name it. Well, guess what? These are all questions. These are all scripts that you can write. And if you want to become a master at sales over the next 21 days, leveraging the 21 hard sales challenge, all you need to do is you need to write every day.

And a script could be a paragraph, it could be a sentence, it could be a page, right? But every day if you start getting in the habit of writing sales scripts that convert that increase your conversion rate. In addition that go from cold connection to booked appointment. Booked appointment of meeting held. Meeting held to closed one deal. Your life could fundamentally be changed forever.  

The 6 Items

That’s why these are the six items that you need to execute every single day for 21 days straight as part of the 21 hard sales challenge. And guess what? You have to continue these steps for 21 days straight. You cannot lie to yourself. Don’t lie to yourself. Don’t lie to me. You have to continue these steps for 21 days straight. And if you quit, executing Step three, executing Step five, six, whatever, I don’t care the order that you go in when you’re doing these six to do’s every single day. Just make sure that you complete them every day.

And then you get to move on to the next day if you if you falter, you have to go back and start from day one. So the 21 hard sales day challenge the 21 hard sales challenge. You got to do it 21 days straight, we’ve covered that. Zero substitutions, you will want to say, Well, I don’t like the phone. Additionally, instead of the phone, I’m going to email instead of phone, I’m going to do LinkedIn video, you name it. There is zero substitutions, there is zero compromise, there’s zero scaling.

If you do not follow the directions with the proper intent exactly as they are defined, you’ll not get the benefit of the 21 hard sales challenge program that this thing provides. The fact that you feel that you need to make adjustments or make it your version is only enabling your entitlement and justification of the tendencies which serve as the perfect example for many. Reasons why you need to follow this program as it is stated.

The calendar

If you slip, like we had mentioned, you got to go back to day one. So I built a tracker for you for the 21 hard sales challenge. Every single day, you’re gonna have week one through week, three, seven days a week, build a list of 100 contacts. Once you do that, on Monday, you’re gonna fill this thing in green. Email, 100 people, you’re gonna fill it in green. Call, you’re going to fill all these in green. And guess what, if you have any that are red, you didn’t do it.

You either fill the color and green or you fill it in red, the minute you fill it in red, kill the sheet, start back at zero. So this whole thing every single day, these boxes, I’m going to get you a Google Sheet with the 21 hard sales challenge. These boxes will get filled in green.

What you want to do is for 21 days straight, every week, every task you want to complete. Build a list of 100 contacts. Email 100 people. Call 50 people. LinkedIn message 25 people. Read 10 pages of a sales book. Then write five sales scripts for you to generate millions in sales. In addition, you need to build a list, you need to settle a list, you need to be training and you need to be writing new scripts to increase your conversion rate. It’s all about the list, activity to the list, writing copy, improving, trading, optimizing 24 seven. This 21 hard sales challenge is what’s going to help you get there, no matter what.

You just go through this. And then once you complete a full cycle for 21 days, you start back again. Let’s do another 21 day sales cycle. Let’s do another 21 hard sales challenge, you name it. The best part about this is it’s never ending. What I want you to do first is I want you to complete one full 21 hard sales challenge course.
